"In the late summer of 2019 I contacted White Oak Sawmill, in Strasburg for the purpose of clearing a small lot of trees from my property and they consented, even though the size was small, about ¾ of an acre. Lawrence Stoltzfus, the timber purchaser came to my property and marked all the trees and within a week returned with a price and contract. I had estimated about 35 mature trees, yet Mr. Stoltzfus counted 55 trees and gave me a price which I considered very fair and more than reasonable. After signing the contract their crew came a few days after and made short work of the trees, completing the job in less than three days and did everything they said they would do in a very professional and orderly manner. I was very impressed with their work ethics and good use of time, none of which was wasted. There were two trees that needed the assistance of PPL because wires needed to be removed and they made the arrangements and came back later to fall those trees. They were very careful not to damage any of the buildings or any part of the driveway. One side note was the fact that I appreciated work with Lawrence and felt him to be a man of high integrity and a joy to work with. He also followed up to make sure I was satisfied. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to lumber trees."
